Admission priority is given in the following order:
Your family does NOT need to reside in Hinesburg to attend our school. Each year we have families from nearby towns such as Monkton, Huntington, Charlotte, and St. George. Hinesburg Nursery School is a qualified Early Learning Partner (ELP) in accordance with Act 166, which allows for universal access to publicly-funded pre-Kindergarten education. All children living in VT, who will turn 3 on or before September 1st, are eligible to receive public funding that will cover ten hours of their tuition to HNS. These students must attend 10 hours a week, or 3 mornings at HNS. HNS is currently an ELP partner with Champlain Valley School District, Mount Mansfield Unified School District, South Burlington School District, Burlington School District and Addison Northeast Supervisory Union. (Students outside these school districts are also eligible.) Qualifications for attending HNS are simple:
